I admit, I was lucky and never struggled with weight when I was young. I honestly thought I’d be skinny forever, but then kids came and metabolism changed. Over the years I’ve tried different diets and programs, including Weight Watchers (multiple times), Beach Body, Nutrisystem, Keto, and the list goes on. They were never sustainable for me as it was a lifestyle that I didn’t want to continue for the rest of my life! I wanted my pizza, I wanted carbs, I wanted sweets (specifically, cupcakes)! Noom helps you make behavorial changes rather than just telling you what you CAN’T eat! Knowing that I can eat whatever I want (in moderation), makes me crave it less! Does that make sense? It’s so crazy when you know you can’t have something, you want it even more. But, when you know you can have it, you tell yourself you don’t really need it.
Just like any other weight loss program, you log your food and weigh yourself every morning. You will have your ups and downs in weight, but the most important thing is to keep going! Don’t quit just because you gained a pound or two or because you gorged on pizza the day before, today is a new day to make great choices.
